Roller Pin Stamping for July 4th

by trisha haas

Getting out your food for a picnic and looking for a fun way to decorate the table?

Let the kids help!

Roller pin Stamping

 Need

  • Rolling Pins
  • Foam stickers
  • Paint

You can pick up these totally adorable and inexpensive roller pins at your local craft store (we use Hobby Lobby, that’s where I bought these) and then grab a bag of star shaped foam stickers. Just peel off the stickers and firmly press into your rolling pin. Lightly dip in the paint and roll on a long piece of brown paper. I bought the paper from OfficeMax for about $8 and it’s been the best investment ever! We use it for just about everything and it comes in a long sheet that you continuously unroll till it’s gone. I sometimes lay it in the kitchen and toss the kids some markers and let them go at it.

Too much paint leaves less star and more smear, but it’s still super fun!

Tip: We found the smaller stars work better on the smaller roller pins

Then just let dry and add your food to your picnic table! This is also a fun “moms busy so go play” craft.

Having trouble with your rolling pin stamps and want something a little less messy? Try Finger Foam Stamping!

Dont forget to pin for later.
