Getting started with your Hot Wheels Ballistik Racer
Out of the package, our racer came charged enough to give a good amount of play. Which was great because both of my kids decided to fight who was getting to play right off the bat. The racer is large at 9.06 x 3.54 x 1.97 Inches and goes straight like a champ. My 12 year old daughter and I learned pretty quickly how to do an Instant Pivot Turn, but with some creativity and set up, there are tons of stunts to be done!
This very sturdy remote control vehicle can take a ramp, a wall, and yes even your couch, and keep on ticking. And getting stuck in a tight spot? Not a problem with the 180 degree turn. Our only real navigation problem was tight corners.
Additionally, this toy is FAST. We found that it moved faster than often our brains could click to jump out of the way. There is no chugging along the grass in show play, stopping to adjust the wheels. You turn it on and it GOES.
