- 28 oz sweetened condensed milk
- 3/4 cup key lime juice
- Zest from 2 average-sized limes
WHIPPED TOPPING
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 1 tsp pure vanilla extract
- 1 cup heavy whipping cream

Key Lime Pie Instructions
Before you start making your pie, you’ll want to gather your equipment. For this recipe, you’ll need:
- 8″ – 9.5″ pie pan
- Small mixing bowl (+ spoon for combining ingredients)
- Medium mixing bowl (+ whisk for combining ingredients)
- Electric mixer
- Rubber spatula
1.) Make Your Graham Cracker Crust
Preheat your oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
Using your small bowl, combine graham cracker crumbs, melted butter, and sugar thoroughly. Then, press the crust mixture into your pie pan and bake for 7 minutes. Let cool for 30 minutes.
2.) Prepare Key Lime Pie Filling
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
In a medium-sized bowl, whisk sour cream, sweetened condensed milk, lime zest, and key lime juice together. Pour the filling into the crust and bake for 10 minutes.
Let key lime pie cool for about 15 minutes, then chill in the fridge for 3 hours (the longer, the better. 5 hours is great if you have the time).
3.) Whip Up Your Topping
