No churn ice cream is so fun to make. Easily done, you do not need any special equipment and the ingredients and freezer do all the work!

Making homemade ice cream is special because you can also match up party colors and themes like this no churn unicorn poop ice cream or even this no churn peanut butter and chocolate version.

No Churn Mermaid Ice Cream

Directions:

In a large mixing bowl, beat the whipping cream until frothy peaks form (it should look like cool whip.)

Add in the honey or sweetened condensed milk and stir until just combined.

Divide the ice cream mixture into 3 bowls and add 4 drops of food coloring to each.

Stir the food dye in until just combined, ensuring not to overmix

Spoon the ice cream mixtures in a random pattern into a loaf pan. You can layer if you like, but I like the pattern that came out of the random spots.

Sprinkle on a bunch of mermaid sprinkles, and then run a butter knife through the loaf pan to swirl it all together.

Place in the freezer until completely frozen, at least 6 hours.

The day before making these cupcakes, start preparing the mermaid tails. They each need about 2-3 hours to set. Leave them on the counter to set, do not refrigerate. If you set them by the fridge, when you pull them out and pop them, they will sweat and melt. Just leave on counter until the candy re-hardens. If you are making more than one tail, you will need additional molds to do more than one at a time.

Melt the candy melts one at a time – microwave for 35 seconds, stir, and reheat as needed.

Portion about 1/4 to 1/3 cup of the melts into the mermaid silicone mold and let set at least 2 hours. Store in Tupperware container on counter.
